TUBEHEADS (2011)
A portrait of a person, who in a rigid position and staring beyond the real world, is mostly composed on the middle section, with the help of side lights and flashes. It is always the same position, only the surrounding scenery is changing: once sitting on a sofa or a bed, another time standing in the middle of a landscape or an industrial zone not lacking the author's important explanation of the concept. This is the present trend in photography.
Figures and thoughts change in technically perfect images, and it may seem that the theme is depleted. In order to simplify and accelerate the instant way of solving our photographic visions, we offer a manual, following the example of the chain store IKEA, which we present in our collective project of placing very intimate probes into our lives, the lives of “tubeheads”.
